When is legal marriage in New York possible?
To make sure that a New York marriage certificate is valid in Germany, Austria or Switzerland and therefore legal, it has to be notarised by the County Clerk and affixed with an apostille from the New York State Department. We’ll deal with the necessary bureaucratic affairs for you and take care of all the relevant administrative issues. The marriage can then be registered without problems at a registry office in your home country.
What do you need for a legal wedding in New York?
You will need a valid passport and, if necessary, a translation of any divorce certificates.
